Good news was reported by representatives of travel agencies. Prices for travelling to Turkey and Thailand have decreased. This is primarily due to the fact that a new school year is beginning and children are starting to study. Discounts on bookings range from forty to sixty per cent, depending on the popularity of the destination and the “stardom” of the hotel. The administration of tourist associations explains this
“the traditional slump in demand associated with the start of the school year”. The decline in travellers’ activity leads to an increase in the number of hot special offers for upcoming departures. But, unfortunately, this price drop is not permanent. Soon the demand for travelling to Turkey and Thailand will return to normal, and together with it the prices will rise. After all, despite the natural disasters and abnormal temperature conditions the cost of holidays has increased significantly and it is unlikely to expect that travel will become cheaper.
New promising holiday destinations have opened up in Turkey. One of these areas is the Black Sea coast, which previously developed as an industrial one. This became possible after the cities of this region joined the club of tourist centres.
