Upon your arrival at Vienna Airport, a representative will be there to escort you to your hotel. On day 2, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a panoramic tour of Vienna, where you can admire the city’s historical landmarks and the breathtaking beauty of Schönbrunn Palace. The following day is dedicated to exploring the enchanting Old Town and uncovering its hidden courtyards, with plenty of free time in the afternoon for you to indulge in personal exploration. Depart on day 4 with a transfer to Vienna Airport.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Vienna Airport-Vienna

Upon arrival at Vienna Airport, you will be greeted in the arrival hall and transported to your hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to unwind and recover from the overnight flight.

Day 02 Vienna

Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing of the city with a guided tour of Schönbrunn Castle & gardens (4 hours, combination of car and walking).

This tour will showcase the prominent historical landmarks situated along the Ringstrasse, such as the State Opera, the National Museums, the Imperial Palace, the Parliament, the City Hall, the Burgtheater, and the University.

Afterward, you will proceed to the stunning Schönbrunn Palace, which was once the summer retreat for the Habsburg family. The highlight of this tour will be a guided exploration of the magnificent rooms within the palace. Finally, you will return to either your hotel or the city center around 1pm.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind and discover the city on your own.

Day 03 Vienna

After breakfast, start your walking tour of the Old Town & secret courtyards (duration: 3 hours).

This intriguing city walk provides an initial overview of Vienna's history and structure. Uncover Vienna's Old Town by exploring its concealed courts. Beyond the impressive exteriors of the downtown houses and palaces, you will find numerous exquisite hidden courtyards. Vienna is renowned for its "Pawlatsche" balconies, which grant access to different apartments within the inner courtyard. These buildings, situated in the district surrounding St. Stephen's Cathedral, are among the city's oldest.
