Day 01 Get Settled

Meet your private driver and vehicle for an airport transfer. Your driver will be holding a name sign at the arrival gates. For your added comfort, an English-speaking assistant will assist you at hotel check-in, walk you through your welcome package documents and itinerary, and answer any questions you may have.

A welcome package with your itinerary and any relevant documents or tickets required for your trip will be provided to you on your arrival in destination. 

Day 02 Sights and Insights

Helsinki is one of Europe’s most modern and culturally progressive cities, yet it remains in touch with an intriguing history stretching back over 450 years. Meet your private guide and set out on foot for a walking tour of Helsinki, discovering the highlights of the city like Senate Square, the oldest part of central Helsinki, with the iconic bright white Helsinki Cathedral elevated above the surrounding Government Palace and University of Helsinki. See the unique architecture of the Parliament House and Finlandia Hall, and admire the 19th century Uspenski Cathedral. When possible, you’ll also visit Temppeliaukion Church, also known as the Church of the Rock, with its interior walls comprised of the exposed natural bedrock which was excavated to supports its copper dome. Then, parting ways with your guide, you’ll board a ferry with direct service to Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and island fortress, dating back to the 18th century. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your private Fortress guide, to enjoy the beautiful nature of the island or explore the tunnels and Suomenlinna Museum. After about an hour, you’ll bid farewell to your guide and the island, as you board the return ferry for your return to Helsinki.

Day 03 City Streets and Tasty Treats

Experience the rich culinary culture of Helsinki during an appetizing 4-hour food tour of the vibrant Finnish capital. Meet your guide at your hotel and you will be escorted to Old Market Hall and the outdoor market where you will sample local delicacies such as smoked fish, wild fruits (when in season) and local bread. Purchase souvenirs and gifts as you stroll around the bustling market. Enjoy a special buffet at one of the local cafes and familiarize yourself with the local food. After a delicious meal, your guide will escort you back to your hotel or you can spend more time in the area on your own.

Day 04 The Journey Continues…

Upon disembarkation, a private English-speaking assistant will be waiting for you at the port near the ship's exit, holding a sign with your name on it. They will direct you to your awaiting private transfer, and accompany you to your hotel for check-in.

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel for a 4-hour tour of Stockholm with a visit to the famous Vasa Museum. The city of Stockholm is built on 14 islands, connected by 57 bridges and embraces the unique character of the 13th century Old Town and modern high-tech architecture. You will start your tour with a leisurely drive around the city, viewing the best-known sites and buildings including the Royal Palace, Östermalm and of course Gampla Stan (Old town). Thereafter, you will visit the Vasa Museum and experience one of the biggest cultural treasures in Sweden – the warship Vasa, arguably the best preserved ancient maritime artifact in the world. Learn about the history of this 17th-century ship through fascinating exhibitions, archaeological findings of the ships and see the restored wreck that was salvaged from beneath the water. Museum entrance fee is included.

Day 05 Winding the Wind-Swept Shorelines

Meet your guide and driver for a private tour of the royal Drottningholm Palace and the medieval Gripsholms Castle. Start your tour on Lovön Island with a visit to the private residence of the Swedish royal family and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Drottningholm Palace. Called "Versailles in Miniature", the palace boasts magnificent suites, extensive parks, a 200-year old Court Theatre and a Chinese pavilion. Continue on to the historic and beautiful Gripsholms, known as Gustav Vasa's castle. Rising over the pretty town of Mariefred and on the shores of Lake Mälaren, the medieval castle showcases impressive collections of portraits, featuring famous Swedes from the days of Gustav Vasa to Abba musician and composer, Benny Andersson. You will tour the beautiful castle grounds and Hjorthagen nature reserve where royal deer graze. Entrance fees to Drottningholm Palace and Gripsholms Castle are included.

Day 06 Get a Lay of the Land

Meet your guide and driver at your hotel for a half-day private tour of Copenhagen with a visit to Rosenborg Castle. During the tour, you will see the city's most important sights including Kongens Nytorv, Royal Theatre, the colorful Nyhavn harbor district, Tivoli Gardens, Amalienborg Castle, Gefion Fountain, the Little Mermaid statue and the canal district with the National Museum, impressive Stock Exchange and Christiansborg Castle, home to the Danish Parliament. On your tour, you will also visit Rosenborg Castle, built by King Christian IV in the 17th century, which manages to be both ornate and cozy. On display are three centuries of royal furnishings, as well as the crown jewels. Entrance fee to Rosenborg Castle is included.

Day 07 Marching through the Museum

Meet your private guide for a half day visit to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Located north of Copenhagen, Louisiana Museum incorporates an approach to interaction between art, nature, architecture, landscapes and has a long-standing tradition of culture-historical exhibitions and of presenting large, international photo, design and architecture shows.The world famous international museum features distinguished and considerable collections of modern art with over 3,500 works and presents six to ten special exhibitions annually. It covers the key artistic periods beginning of 1945 to present day, including Picasso, Giacometti, Dubuffet, Yves Klein, Andy Warhol, Rauschenberg, Henry Moore, Louise Bourgeois, Philip Guston, Morris Louis, Jorn, Baselitz, Polke, Kiefer, and Per Kirkeby. Your experience includes private transfer, English speaking guide and entrance.

The Tivoli Gardens first opened in 1845 and has inspired Walt Disney when he was creating the original Disneyland. Constantly evolving the park has added new elements including a beloved cultural icon "The Tivoli Youth Guard", a comprehensive children's musical education. Today Tivoli Gardens is a famous amusement park featuring roller coaster rides, pavilions, carnival games, open-air concerts, performing art shows and a Saturday Nights firework display. Tivoli also features an abundance of wonderful pathways and river where you can take a break surrounded by nature. At Tivoli Gardens there is something for everyone! Entrance ticket is included.
