Day 01 Zagreb

Enjoy a breakfast at your hotel.

Explore Zagreb historic Upper Town in a walking tour, passing by Kamenita Vrata (Stone Gates), the tower of Lotrscak, the church of St. Mark, and several present-day government buildings.

Then, join a delightful wine tasting session, where you can sample the distinctive reds and whites from various Croatian regions.

Spend the remainder of the day discovering Zagreb on your own.

Day 02 Zagreb

Experience the dreamy vineyards and rural landscapes as you travel to Varaždin, the northern region’s center. Known for its distinct Baroque air, Varaždin sits on the bank of river Drava and showcases its green parks and flat lands adorned with Baroque and rococo architecture. Continue your journey to the stunning Croatian castle, Trakošćan, with a rich history dating back to the 14th century.

Enjoy a traditional lunch in Vuglec Breg, located between beautifull green hills, in the heart of Zagorje. At the end of the tour (approx 6 hours) return to Zagreb, and, the remainder of the day is at leisure,

Day 03 Plitvice

After breakfast, depart to Croatia’s most popular national park, situated south of Zagreb.

As you drive away from the bustling city landscapes, relax as they turn into rural imagery embraced in green forests. You are headed to 16 cascading lakes which overflow in a spectacular play of over 90 waterfalls, creating the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. Your guide will explain the inspiring works of nature behind the beauty of Plitvice and you will have a chance to not only walk around, but enjoy panoramic boat and train rides.

After some time on your own, head back to Zagreb for a relaxing evening on your own.
